PMOstats is a PMO tracker and streak app for iPhone that helps you track relapses, spot triggers, and stay accountable. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the PMOstats app and website (the "Service").

By using PMOstats, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve the Service:

1. Account Information (via Firebase Authentication)

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your email address (for email/password sign-up, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign In).
• A unique user identifier (Firebase UID).

This enables secure login, data sync across devices, and access to your progress and data across the app.

2. User-Generated Content

• Relapse logs: date, time, and duration of logged events.
• Connection data: usernames (pseudonymous, chosen by you), connection information, and any names or labels you create for shared spaces.

Usernames are chosen by you and not linked to real names unless you voluntarily input personal details. No notes, descriptions, photos, or other sensitive details are collected.

This data is stored securely in Firebase Firestore/Realtime Database and is essential for core features like progress tracking and shared or social features.

3. Usage Data (via Firebase Analytics)

We collect anonymized usage information such as app opens, session duration, screen views, feature interactions (e.g., logging events, use of app features), device type, OS version, and general performance metrics. This helps us understand usage patterns and improve the app.

4. Payment-Related Data

Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase system (StoreKit). We do not collect or store payment card details or financial information. Superwall (our paywall provider) collects limited metadata (e.g., subscriber status, app user ID, platform) solely to optimize paywalls and analyze subscription performance — no personal payment info is shared with us or Superwall.

We do not collect:

• Free-text notes or descriptions
• Photos, location data, real names (beyond optional in username), contacts, health records beyond basic logs
• Any data for advertising or cross-app tracking

How We Use Your Information

• Provide core functionality: sync your logs, progress, and other data you create across devices.
• Authenticate and secure your account.
• Analyze aggregated usage to fix bugs, improve features, and understand trends.
• Manage paywalls and subscriptions via Superwall (analytics only).

Third-Party Services

We use the following services:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore/Realtime Database, Analytics):
  Collects device identifiers (e.g., installation ID), IP address (for rough geo and security), usage events, and auth data. Data is processed in the US or global Google facilities.

• Superwall:
  Collects limited subscriber analytics (e.g., appUserId, platform, paywall events) for optimization. No payment details or advertising use.

We do not share your data with any other third parties for marketing, advertising, or sale. All third parties are contractually required to protect your data at least as strongly as described here.

Data Retention & Deletion

• Your data is retained as long as your account is active.
• Use the in-app "Delete My Data" button to:
  • Delete your Firebase Authentication account (including email/Google/Apple-linked).
  • Permanently delete all associated data (relapse logs, connection data, and other data you've created) from Firestore/Realtime Database.
  Deletion is irreversible. Firebase purges backups within approximately 180 days.

Children's Privacy

PMOstats is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post changes here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
